A proxy is a site which serves the requests of its clients by forwarding requests to other sites. A client connects to the proxy site, requesting some service, such as a file, connection, web page, or other resource, available from a different site. The proxy site provides the resource by connecting to the specified server and requesting the service on behalf of the client. A proxy server may optionally alter the client's request or the server's response, and sometimes it may serve the request without contacting the specified server. In this case, it would 'cache' the first request to the remote server, so it could save the information for later, and make everything as fast as possible. In other words, a proxy site works as a proxy for the client. It pretends to be the user but in the meantime, it doesn't display the user's information like the user's ip address. So, a proxy site can be used to hide the user's information from the server of the visiting site.
However, due to the excessive usage of cpu by proxy scripts, many proxy servers don't allow free web surfing through their proxy sites. Instead they offer paid proxy surfing. And those which offers free wurfing are relatively slow because of the high traffic.
Here, we provide free proxy sites which are relatively faster than other free proxies and are also updated regularly to meet the users' expectations of better proxies.
